Lynette Eklund

Lynette Eklund is a puppeteer, builder, suit performer, and producer who is most well known for being in the special effect industry of film. She served as one of the puppeteers within the Creature Shop film The Flintstones, credited under a different name, but still with the other Muppet performers. Lynette is more of a freelance puppeteer, puppet builder, and costumer in which her projects came in all different sizes from stop-motion to full-scale. Eklund puppeteered on The Blob, McDonaldland, Beetlejuice, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and many more. As for special effects, she mainly fabricated for films such as Species, Puppet Master franchise, Jaws 3-D, and Demonic Toys, to name a few. Other puppeteers she worked with include Lisa Sturz, Joe Selph, Tony Urbano, Len Levitt, and Rob Tygner. Lynette Eklund seems to be a hardworking special effects woman for she's done numerous tasks within numerous films, theme parks, and TV shows. Someday she should do another Creature Shop project and maybe do both puppet building and performing, you never know when the workshop might need her for something involving effects. She even created puppets for D.C. Follies, Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and The All New Captain Kangaroo, the latter two were kid shows. This concludes that Lynette is definitely one of the world's busiest puppeteers and special effects artists, along with many others. Recently, Eklund became a producer and has produced 3 Bears Christmas and The Hunted (wrote the script too). There is nothing that this person can't do when it comes to puppets, costumes, and special effects. Let's hope that she'll influence other performers to be like her. Lynette Eklund, despite doing only 1 Creature Shop film, you are considered to be a hardworking performer and artist. Keep up the great special effect work. Never forget how much you accomplished over the years. You're no fraud Lynette. You're perfect Eklund!
