Sarah Frechette
Sarah Frechette is a puppeteer, artist, and the founder of PuppetKabob, a puppet company that toured across the world to many public areas. She hasn't really worked with Sesame Street or the Muppets but has been seen in countries they are usually found such as Canada and the US. Sarah has got information that stated she studied marionettes in Germany with legendary German performer Albrecht Roser (who once met Jim Henson himself). Frechette has also puppeteered on SeeMore's Playhouse, alongside Eric Wright, Lindsey Briggs, and Carole D'Agostino, all three of the performers have worked on Sesame Street. She has also toured with Phillip Huber and the marionette rock-opera Don't Trust Anyone Over Thirty, where the former also made the puppet costumes. As for her studio work, she's done both live-action puppetry and stop-motion animation creating for both television and film. Sarah Frechette made costumes for stop motion projects such as many commercials, ParaNorman, and Wendell and Wild, all of which she received credit for. As for live-action puppets, the shows she performed on include Dirty Gerts, The Snowflake Man (which has a film too), Under Night Sky, and What the Moon Saw. I've read that while Albrecht was mentoring with her, she also carved and painted the marionettes she's done in her performances. Some other people Sarah worked with include Robin Walsh and Ingrid Hofer for a German show, that's hard to pronounce, in my case at least. I only hope Frechette will someday meet up with Muppet performers from the areas she's performed in & maybe get a chance to assist. You never know when The Muppets, Sesame Street, or even Fraggle Rock might need a performer talented like her. She just has to keep doing what she does best. Sarah Frechette, you're wonderful when it comes to marionettes at PuppetKabob. Keep running with that company, because you never know when Muppet performers start hearing about it and might want you. Don't be "strung" Sarah. Good luck Frechette!
