Art Vega

Art Vega is a puppeteer who was an additional Muppet performer on The Muppets (2011), Lady Gaga & the Muppets' Holiday Spectacular, and Muppets Most Wanted. Outside, he mainly puppeteered at Disneyland in several shows, parades, and events. In addition, Art has also done special Muppets made for Disneyland on the VoluntEars Cavalcade in 2010 and The Muppets Christmas Caroling Coach in 2021. Other performers Vega worked with include Alex Villa, Sarah Sarang Oh, Nicolette Santino, and Drew Massey, to name a few. I'm guessing that his performances at Disneyland is the reason he was chosen to assist the Muppets in those three projects mentioned above. He was also a puppeteer in a Spanish short film called Para Ellos (2015) working on animals. Art Vega is also a photographer and filmmaker as said on his website, but it's unknown right now what projects he did on either of those two. His other works have included Eugene, Screen Junkies Movie Fights, and Kids Imagine Nation (as director and editor), and that's only a couple of them. I wonder if working at Disneyland was the first puppetry work he's ever done before doing all of the Muppet projects and outside stuff. Art is also working with a puppet troupe, but I don't know what type of shows they did involving puppetry. Vega's recent Muppet project was on The Muppets Mayhem and will probably do future projects involving the lot. And who knows, maybe he'll even get his own character, if he has permission that is. It might not happen just yet, but soon his chance will come. Art Vega, you're a Disney wonder and a great assistant to the Muppet performers. Though I wish you would perform a Muppet character the next time you work with the Muppets. You never know when a person will get a Muppet performer credit.
