Paul Fusco

Paul Fusco is a puppeteer, voice actor and showrunner who is best known for being the performer of ALF in both animated form and puppet form. He has performed the title character within many shows featuring him for many years and even guest appearances since 1990. Paul was also the creator, writer, director, and producer of the show ALF in addition to performing the title role. Fusco reprised the voice of his character for a crossover animated special called Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue which featured Muppet Babies. Other than ALF, he has also performed on many television movies like The Crown of Bogg, The Moonstone Gem, and The Wickedest Witch to name a few. Paul Fusco also worked with two puppeteers who have worked with the Muppets and Sesame Street; Lisa Buckley and John Lovelady. I think that he should be considered a guest since he technically worked alongside the animated Muppet Babies and they count as a Muppet project. The company he works for is called Alien Productions and I'm gonna guess that's where the ALF character first started. Additional shows Paul worked on include Spacecats and Dumbo's Circus (probably where he met Lovelady). The latest time Fusco did ALF was on an episode of Duncanville in 2020. He's probably still thinking about how much fun it is performing an alien character for decades. I only wish that he would keep in touch with people like Lisa Buckley who did ALF's right hand in his appearances. Paul Fusco, you're the reason ALF is so popular across the world today. Keep on performing ALF until you decide to retire from show business. And while you're at it, think about your puppeteer friends. You are out of this world Paul. Don't be a stranger Fusco!
