Darci Lynne Farmer

Darci Lynne Farmer is a ventriloquist and singer who has done ventriloquism since 2014 when she was 10 years old. She must have been known as the youngest ventriloquist in America, so far at least. Darci appeared with Rowlf the Dog in 2018 at the taping of America's Got Talent: The Champions where they performed "Can't Smile Without You" together. Farmer must have been really excited to work with Bill Barretta, one of the current Muppet performers. I've read that she was very shy to perform in front of an audience as a child, but with help from her parents she overcame that shyness and is now a big star. She performed a lot of ventriloquist puppets, some of the names included Edna, Petunia, Oscar, Katie, and more. I would say that Darci Lynne Farmer has reinvented ventriloquism to be more full of laughs. She appeared on various shows and competitions such as America's Got Talent (winner in Season 12), All That, and Nickelodeon's Unfiltered, to name a few. In addition to ventriloquism, she is also an excellent singer heard singing while doing her puppets for many international appearances. Darci is still working with her characters today and might still do ventriloquism for the future. Farmer was inspired to work with puppets by another ventriloquist named Terry Factor who also made an appearance with a Muppet character, Kermit the Frog to be precise. Other ventriloquists would probably be jealous by her swell performances since childhood. Darci Lynne Farmer, if it wasn't for your parents, you would never have been the star you are today. I hope that someday you'll make another guest appearance with a Muppet character like Fozzie Bear or Gonzo or maybe the whole gang on their next project. I'd say you hold the record for being the 1st child ventriloquist today. Congrats to you & your puppets Darci. Ciao Farmer!
