Claire Carre

Claire Carre is a French puppeteer who is yet another puppeteer to be unknown to the world. Her only known project was replacing Véronique Déroulède as Tilly on Tots TV from 1994-1995, later reprising the role in 1998 from Alexandra Hogg. Claire should have some more information about herself since there are other women that have the same name as her. Carre should also have a self portrait of herself performing Tilly, one that isn't the one above. Tots TV has rarely shown behind the scenes pictures of Robin Stevens, Andrew Davenport, and herself respectively performing their characters. Even if there are behind the scenes photos, they probably don't show who she looks like. I believe Claire Carre must come out of hiding and maybe reunite with her Tots TV crew. It's just an idea, it probably won't happen but it couldn't hurt. She should have performed or assisted on a French co-production of Sesame Street like 5, Rue Sesame when she had the chance to do so. Then Claire could have worked with some other puppeteers from France like her such as Yves Brunier or Charlie Bazire. Maybe Carre would have also been great for Muppets TV which featured more French people than 5, Rue Sesame did. I hope maybe someday, she'll reveal to the world what other things she has done other than performing on Tots TV in the mid 90's. You never know when she'll get interviewed. Claire Carre, you are an addition to my list of mysterious puppeteers since no one knows anything about you other than that one series. Maybe Stevens or Davenport will remember you, but on the other hand, they might not since it has been years since Tots TV ended.
