Alexandra Hogg

Alexandra Hogg is a British-French puppeteer, actress, designer, and voice actress who is best known for performing in many shows by Ragdoll Productions. Her puppetry was seen on Tots TV, replacing Claire Carre as Tilly from 1996-1998. Alexandra has also worked on the original Teletubbies, doing some of the female Voice Trumpets that popped up in almost every location. Hogg was even on Brum in which she helped to create the Brum remote control car puppet. I wonder how she learned to speak French when working on Tots TV or how she learned to speak English on Teletubbies. As for her acting career, she acted on two projects; Jonathan Creek and The Afterparty, the latter being her latest work. It amazes me how Alexandra Hogg manages to deal with doing puppetry on location since Tots TV was shot like that. I'm going to assume that she left Tots TV in 1998 because it caused scheduling conflicts between her work on that show and Teletubbies. I only wish that she would have performed on 5, Rue Sesame or Muppets TV to make her an international Sesame Street performer. At least Alexandra got to work with other puppeteers such as Robin Stevens and Andrew Davenport who were both key people of Ragdoll Productions. Hogg should have also performed on The Furchester Hotel where she could meet legendary performers such as Ryan Dillon or Louise Gold. But she was probably too busy to do such a task. At least she's entertained children for years. Alexandra Hogg, you may not have been a Sesame Street person or never even heard of that show, but you're still considered wonderful by me. I hope that you will keep on working for both British and French television and maybe catch up with the people of Ragdoll Productions if the company is still standing. You also did a magnifique job performing on all of those projects by the company, including Tilly of Tots TV. Well done Alexandra. Viva to you Hogg!
