Suzanne Merriam
Suzanne Merriam is a Canadian suit performer and puppeteer who is, once again, another person who has not worked with the Muppets or Sesame Street at all. She mainly served as a suit performer and puppeteer for Radical Sheep Productions on projects like The Big Comfy Couch (replacing Jackie Harris), Ruffus the Dog, and Panda Bear Daycare. Suzanne should have worked on Sesame Park or Muppet projects filmed in Canada, where she performed for Radical Sheep Productions. Merriam has however worked with puppeteers who are Muppet performers or Muppet puppeteers such as Fred Stinson, Jani Lauzon, and Bob Stutt, to name a few. I've read that she has also been an actress for a theatre troupe called Shaw Festival Theatre. That theatre troupe sounds interesting to me. I wonder if that's what happened to Suzanne Merriam after Robert Mills stepped down from Radical Sheep back in 2002, which was 19 years ago. Does she ever wonder if there will be a chance for her to work alongside the Muppets? I personally think she should have performed on Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock which was filmed in Canada like the original. I just hope Suzanne is not thinking about retiring now since there's still a chance for her to work with the Muppets. As long as Merriam is still working in theater today, she's would still be considered a performer. I also wonder if she had any difficulty breathing, speaking, and seeing out of the head masks for the costumes made by Radical Sheep Shop. There must be some kind of method for a performer to do all those things. Suzanne Merriam, if you can puppeteer and wear a costume topped with a head mask, then you must be extremely fit for me. I hope you still doing okay today and maybe thinking about how much you enjoyed doing those three Radical Sheep Productions. The company may not do puppetry anymore, but you still did good. Take the proper time to relax Suzanne. Peace Merriam!
