Evelyne Scheigam

Evelyne Scheigam is a French puppeteer who has performed Griotte on the French co-production of Sesame Street, 5, Rue Sesame. She also puppeteered Muppets on Muppets TV while her spouse Boris served as the puppet art director for that show. I wonder why Evelyne didn't puppeteer and voice any characters while working on Muppets TV. Scheigam has worked alongside other French puppeteers like Yves Brunier. Outside of both 5, Rue Sesame and Muppets TV, she and Boris both puppeteered on other children's puppet TV series that were filmed in France, like La Minute des Petites Sorcieres. It would appear that Evelyne Scheigam is another puppeteer who doesn't have a lot of information about herself just like the previous post of Dina Al-Saleh. She is also one of those rare international puppeteers to do an international Muppet show featuring entirely new material. But I wish that the Wiki would contain more info about her and her work outside of 5, Rue Sesame and Muppets TV. I also wish that Evelyne had a self portrait so people reading the Wiki around the world will know what she looks like. Perhaps someday Scheigam will perform in another Muppet or Sesame project in France and maybe then, she'd be recognized as someone famous. It might not happen today, but someday she'll have her chance in the spotlight. Evelyne Scheigam, you are another mysterious puppeteer with very few info about yourself as far as I'm concerned. But still, you've made a lot of French children very happy when doing Griotte on 5, Rue Sesame. I hope that someday the Wiki will recognize you for your talents and upload a new image of your own face and with Griotte. Don't stop doing what you do Evelyne. Swell job Scheigam!
