Ronald Binion

Ronald Binion is a puppeteer and puppet designer/builder who has designed and built characters for many Muppet and Henson projects. He made puppets for Muppets Tonight, The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, The Animal Show, and Bear in the Big Blue House. Ronald was also an additional puppeteer in new material for a Sesame Street home video called Zoe's Dance Moves. Binion even worked in the Sesame Street film, The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Too bad he didn't puppeteer in any other Muppet project. Outside of the Muppet Workshop, he has both designed, built, and performed puppets for many projects like LazyTown (as Pixel and a puppet producer), The Book of Pooh, Crank Yankers, Ghostbusters (2016), and many more. Ronald Binion is such an expert when it comes to creating and performing puppet characters. LazyTown must have been his best known show for he worked alongside Aymee Garcia, Jodi Eichelberger, and Julie Westwood, to name a few. Recently, he puppeteered in the Ghostbusters: Afterlife film, a Manscaped commercial, Babylon, and While Mortals Sleep. Ronald is another puppeteer who traveled the world to perform, from New York to Iceland to Kenya (No Strings International). I think that Binion is married to another puppet builder, Carol Binion. I'm not sure if it's true, so I would like to see proof that they are together. He must be related to her in some way, but I do not know that for sure. Ronald Binion, you are a genius at designing, building, and performing many puppets, though it would make more sense if you work with the Muppets more. I'm saying you got to work with the Muppets as a puppeteer rather than a designer and builder. Keep the LazyTown memory forever and think about how much healthier you are from working on that show. Please remain a happy and especially healthy man Ronald. You'll be in the Muppet performer category someday Binion!
