Peggy Etra

Peggy Etra is an actress and puppeteer who mostly worked with Henson Alternative as a member of the Puppet Up troupe. She also performed a panelist for No You Shut Up and has served as an additional puppeteer for The Happytime Murders and Earth to Ned. Peggy's only known Muppet work was being the puppeteer of Camilla the Chicken for a commercial promoting Facebook Portal. Etra seemed to be a talented young woman and puppeteering for Puppet Up has her experienced with audiences. Hence, she should have worked with the Muppets when they did their show at the Hollywood Bowl and the O2 Arena. She has also worked in a series of shorts called Ketchup with the Hot Dogs, featuring Hot Dogs from the Puppet Up shows. Outside of Henson Alternative, Peggy Etra has acted in a number of TV shows and feature films. She puppeteered on Kidding, Adam Ruins Everything, and The Barbarian and the Troll, while the others had her do some acting on camera instead of under a puppet. I think that she is either the wife or the daughter of Willie Etra, the man who supplied music for Puppet Up. I've read that Peggy gave thanks to him for being the music in her life. Etra has even studied at the American Conservatory Theatre and with The Groundlings which probably made her the actress and puppeteer she is today. My only hope is that she performs with the Muppets in more productions soon, maybe by the end of the year or so. No matter what, she still worked with the Henson Company and probably will continue doing that in the future. Peggy Etra, you are a talented puppeteer and a spectacular actress in my opinion. But I want you to work with the Muppets because you only received credit as a Muppet puppeteer to the Muppets on the Muppet Wiki.
