Marcus Clarke is a puppeteer, actor, and writer who's been nominated for editing his script work. He worked on several Henson projects such as The Storyteller, Monster Maker (a special from The Jim Henson Hour) and on the Edinburgh performance of Puppet Up. As for the Muppets, he puppeteered with them on three feature films taped in London, those are The Muppets Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, and Muppets Most Wanted. In 1998, Clarke performed Bag in the UK version of the show Big Bag. Marcus is also the husband of puppeteer Helena Smee, who together made the puppet company Hands Up Puppets. Together they built and performed puppets for over fifty children's TV series, like A House Like That, Patch and Friends, and SMarteenies (just to name a few). Marcus is probably on of the luckiest puppeteers to have a company that made tons of shows. Recently, Clarke has assisted the main puppeteers for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, along with his wife being coordinated by Kevin Clash, Dave Chapman, and Warrick Brownlow-Pike. Marcus Clarke has also done Little Shop of Horrors as one of the puppeteers for Audrey II and Who Framed Roger Rabbit performing puppets. Marcus Clarke has had the honor to work with Disney, Warner Bros, and The Jim Henson Company as a puppeteer for all of them. I only wish he would show the Muppets what an excellent career he has done when he is not working with the Muppets. Why doesn't Marcus Clarke just tell them about what he's done? One day, Marcus should tell the Muppet performers what he and his wife have done throughout the years with puppets and scripts. He doesn't have forever to keep on puppeteering though, so he should do it soon. Marcus Clarke you are great with puppets, an expert when it comes to editing scripts, so you should be the king of puppet writing! You should try Clarke!
