Elizabeth Hara

Liz Hara is a puppeteer, puppet builder, wrangler, and writer known for her work on Sesame Street. I don't understand why she is given the credit of a Muppet performer when she hasn't puppeteered and voiced a character for that show. Although Liz did receive writing credit for seasons 47 and 48 on the show, she didn't receive any performing credit during season 46. Later on, Liz Hara did get credit for performing in Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas. She has also worked as a designer and builder at Puppet Heap for the Muppet's latest feature film Muppets Most Wanted. A shame though, Hara can be another great performer for the Muppets too. But I'm just saying, she needs to perform a character so she can indeed be a Muppet performer just like all of the others that have performed. Liz Hara has also worked outside of Sesame Street separating between puppeteering and writing for various other projects. Her puppetry work can be seen on Kidding, Transylvania Television, and something called The Adventures of Liverwurst Girl. Her writing credits can be seen on Life in Pieces, Odd Squad, & on a mini-series named Chase Champion. Liz has certainly done performing outside of Sesame Street so why doesn't she perform on that show like she did on her outside work. She may be new, but she deserves a chance to puppeteer and voice a Muppet for Sesame Street. Recently, Hara did Apple TV's Helpsters as a co-producer and staff writer, proving that she can also produce a show. I hope that one day, she'll get a chance to perform a character on Sesame Street and that will officially make her into a Muppet performer. Liz Hara, I want you to show the producers of Sesame Street what an incredible woman you are and become a main performer. You don't know what you can do until you try Liz!
