John Pattison
John Pattison is a Canadian puppeteer, ventriloquist, writer, and producer who performed a variety of characters on Fraggle Rock and served as an additional performer. He also co-wrote one of the second season episodes on that show. John has also performed in the first Sesame Street film Follow That Bird as one of the Board of Birds members during the beginning. Outside, Pattison performed on Groundling Marsh (as Hegdish), Eric's World (as C.J. and also was the co-creator), an episode of The Zack Files, and on an episode of Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show (as himself with his ventriloquist dummy Garloo). He also served as co-creator, writer, and producer of Comedy Central's series Puppets Who Kill which came from a Fringe Festival one-man show. He seems to be a very talented person, not to mention a guy with a great sense of humor. John Pattison also puppeteered in two feature films, The Santa Clause (uncredited) and Bride of Chucky. As a ventriloquist/comedian, he traveled the world, performing from many theatres to festivals which was where he wrote Puppets Who Kill. In addition he also wrote the play Waiting for Jack, a puppet play about suicide. John seems to be more acquainted with adult issues nowadays with Puppets Who Kill and such. I read online that Pattison is developing a feature film version of PWK and is currently writing several plays and projects. I'm not sure if that is still true today because nobody has heard from him for a while. But whatever the case, he still did great with both kids and adults across Canada and the wide world with his ventriloquism. John Pattison you are definitely one of the funniest puppeteers and ventriloquists on the Wiki. Fraggle Rock must have made you the star you are today with all the shows. I hope you'll remember how much you enjoyed that show and other projects. Until then, keep on giving laughs John. Yuck up the humor Pattison!
