Olly Taylor
Olly Taylor is a British puppeteer who has performed on various Henson projects that were filmed in the United Kingdom. He also performed various Muppets for the film Muppets Most Wanted, mostly performing Thog, a Baby, and cover for Sweetums. Olly also served as an additional puppeteer for That Puppet Game Show, a family friendly show by Henson Alternative. Taylor was given a principal role for the second season of Pajanimals taking over Victor Yerrid's characters. He was also one of the main puppeteers for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance operating various species to actor's voices. Outside he has done various projects for both television and film. For television, Olly Taylor did the reboot of Teletubbies (alternating with Victoria Jane as Noo Noo), The Roly Mo Show, and Bear Behaving Badly, to name a few. For film, he mostly performed in three Star Wars films, two of which are episodes while one is a story about Han Solo. Not only that, but he even performed in various commercials and theater shows. From glove puppets to animatronic puppets to body suits, Olly has done almost every type of puppet from simple to complicated. I wonder how difficult it was for Taylor to operate two Mystics on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, for the performers have to be hunched. He must have really been in tip-top shape in order to move around hunchbacked. His latest shows include Spitting Image (reboot) and Monty & Co., both were taped the same year. Olly Taylor, you've done wonderful with the Henson Company for years and you were great performing for people of all ages. Your friends such as Heather Tobias, Hugh Purves, and Dave Chapman should be very proud of you for all the hard work. Keep on performing for people until you can't take any more. Great work Olly. Crazy creatures Taylor!
