John Kennedy
John Kennedy (that's John E. Kennedy not John F. Kennedy) is a puppeteer, author, songwriter, and puppet builder. He has performed on various Muppet projects since the early 1990's. John's best known work was seen on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss, where he performed various characters, wrote songs, and served as the puppet captain during its second season. For the Muppets, Kennedy performed Dr. Teeth from 1991-2003 before Bill Barretta took over and also a bunch of minor characters as seen on Kermit's Swamp Years. He also puppeteered two of Frank Oz's characters in Muppets from Space to Oz's voice. As for Sesame Street, he did various minor characters since 1994 and took over the role of The Amazing Mumford since 2018. John Kennedy's other Muppet work can be seen on Henson shows like Telling Stories with Tommie dePaola, Animal Jam, and Pajanimals (shorts version). As for Creature Shop, he did Dinosaurs and Brats of the Lost Nebula. Outside he puppeteered on shows like Eureeka's Castle, Allegra's Window, and Jack's Big Music Show, to name a few. John's latest work outside is his own website, making videos on how to build puppets, and creating his own short film called The Sure Sheep. I wonder how Kennedy has managed to work on his own website while puppeteering. Not to mention if he was named after the former president John F. Kennedy. He has been paired with Bruce Lanoil, John Tartaglia, Andy Stone, and Julianne Buescher, as well as others. John Kennedy, you're a great puppeteer and incredible at song-writing and such. Keep working on and off of Sesame Street and the Muppets and always remember how much fun you had doing Dr. Seuss. Maybe someday you will write songs on Sesame Street too. Just keep on being musical John. Keep being swell Kennedy!
