Robert Mills is a Canadian puppeteer, filmmaker, and the founder of three production companies who did various projects with the Muppets. His most notable show was Fraggle Rock as the body of Junior Gorg and various other characters. Robert has also performed with the Muppets on The Jim Henson Hour, The Christmas Toy, a Just for Laughs appearance, and more. Mills even worked on the Sesame Street film Follow That Bird and it's Canadian co-production Sesame Park (before Noreen Young took over his main character in 1996). His Creature Shop projects have placed him in Labyrinth, Dinosaurs (filling in for Steve Whitmire on certain episodes), and TMNT II. Outside of the Muppets, I've read that he founded Radical Sheep Productions, Hunky Dorey Entertainment, and Kids CBC. During his time at Radical Sheep Productions, Robert Mills wrote, produced, directed, and puppeteered on The Big Comfy Couch, Ruffus the Dog, Panda Bear Daycare, and more. His freelance projects have included Under the Umbrella Tree, Short Circuit 2, and Iris the Happy Professor. Some of the performers he worked with over the years include Bob Stutt, Cheryl Wagner, Gordon Robertson, and Fred Stinson. I hope Robert is fine at the moment, because he looks like he is ready for retirement. Mills' best known character could  be Ruffus since he made more projects starring Ruffus. He was last seen in a 2018 interview with his wife Karen Valleau who also worked with him on some of his projects. It's a shame he stepped down from Radical Sheep in 2002, he was doing so well with the puppet productions. Robert Mills, you really are an amazing puppeteer and a fantastic filmmaker with both Radical Sheep Productions and Hunky Dorey. Take a nice long break and remember how much you enjoyed working with the Muppets. And I hope that you will always think about your friends and maybe get interviewed again. You are another great Canadian legend to puppets Robert. Great work Mills!
