Pam Arciero
Pam Arciero is a puppeteer, voice actress, puppet designer, and director who is best known for playing the current Grundgetta on Sesame Street. She also performed various one-time characters and assisted her friends since 1984. Pam has also worked with the Muppets three times, on Little Muppet Monsters, The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson, and A Muppet Christmas: Letters to Santa. Arciero even worked on the Henson Company show The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. I've read that she has directed lots of live shows at Sesame Place and at El Capitan Theater. Outside of Sesame Street, she performed on numerous shows like Eureeka's Castle, Allegra's Window, and Between the Lions (replacing Kathryn Mullen), to name a few. Pam Arciero also designed puppets on Blue's Room and directed on Oobi in addition to performing on them both. She got to work alongside puppeteers like Caroll Spinney, Brian Muehl, Martin P. Robinson, and Peter Linz, just to name a few. It seems to be that she is one of those puppeteers who knows how to perform positive and negative characters. Pam's time on Sesame Street being Grundgetta was off until Season 48 when she returned as a recurring character. But Arciero still continues to perform minor characters and assist. I just hope she will direct on the show itself other than at Sesame Place live shows. From a cute lion cub to a grouch, she has been on the move and developed great personalities. Pam Arciero, you are an incredible puppeteer and not so bad at both directing and designing. Keep up the great work on Sesame Street and for other appearances across the nation. You're voice will be heard in animation someday. Think big Pam! You sure know what to do Arciero!
