Brock Winkless
Brock Winkless was a puppeteer and visual effects technician, best known for being the puppeteer of Chucky in the Child's Play franchise and the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt. A magazine stated that he understood lip-syncing of a puppet's mouth movements which gave him the skill to puppeteer his characters to vocal tracks. Brock frequently worked with director and make-up artist Kevin Yagher on many projects, such as the Child's Play series, the Crypt Keeper, and the film Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. Winkless also collaborated with other studios for make-up and visual effects throughout his career, including Animated FX Inc., owned by Norman Tempia. Other films he puppeteered in over the years have included Death Becomes Her, Man's Best Friend, Congo, The X-Files, and Dr. Dolittle 2.
