Camille Bonora

Camille Bonora is a former puppeteer and writer who was best known for performing many characters for both Sesame Street and the Muppets. From the mid-1980's to 1996, she traveled between America, Canada, and the UK to work in various productions. Camille's first performance with the Muppets was on Little Muppet Monsters as Molly Monster. Bonora started performing on Sesame Street in 1986 and retired in 1996 performing characters such as Ruby, Goldilocks, and Meryl Sheep. She was also a main performer on the Play-Along video series alongside Kevin Clash as a pair of siblings and others. Her final work with the Muppets was in a Muppet Sing-Along video based on the film Muppet Treasure Island. The last show Camille Bonora puppeteered on was an episode of The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss as a character Stephanie D'Abruzzo took over later. Muppet Wiki states that she served on the editorial board at a journal in Manhattan. After leaving Sesame Street, most of her characters were retired while some were inherited by Alice Dinnean, and later Jennifer Barnhart. The job Camille does now better be worth giving up puppeteering for television. Outside, Bonora performed Eddie and co-wrote for Ben & Eddie, a Christian home video series for kids. I don't know why she gave up being a  Muppet performer to work on an editorial board. She would also appear to be a Muppet performer who is very religious like another puppeteer named Steve Axtell. Camille Bonora, you've done a good job with the Muppets and Sesame Street for whole decade. Keep on doing what you're doing now and maybe someday you'll remember the fun times you've had as a Muppet performer. You're probably the only Muppet performer to be religious. Good luck Camille. Have faith within yourself Bonora!
