Alice Dinnean

Alice Dinnean is a puppeteer and writer who performed in various Muppet productions, mainly Sesame Street and the Muppets. For Sesame Street, she inherited some roles from Camille Bonora while others she originated up until 2004. Alice also performed for Henson Company on projects like Big Bag, Bear in the Big Blue House, Pajanimals (shorts), Sid the Science Kid, and The Happytime Murders. Dinnean switched between California and New York to perform in those projects. I read that her first puppeteer job was in 1993 on the 25th anniversary special of Sesame Street, during the finale. Outside of Muppets and Sesame Street, she worked in several non-Muppet shows like The Puzzle Place, Jack's Big Music Show, and Crank Yankers, just to name a few. Alice Dinnean was sometimes paired with puppeteers such as David Rudman, Joey Mazzarino, and Peter Linz as seen in some of her shows. She has worked the Muppets since 1993 and still is today, like in Muppets Haunted Mansion special and The Muppets Mayhem. Her recent Henson Company projects include The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Earth to Ned, Word Party, and Slumberkins. Alice was also the co-creator of GLOP along with Donna Kimball and Colleen Smith. It seems that Dinnean can do almost anything with puppets whether it is with the Muppets or not. And she will probably still do puppetry on future projects. You never know what she'll do next. Alice Dinnean, you are excellent with the Muppets and you did splendid on Sesame Street and outside shows. Keep up the great work and maybe write for them someday. I also hope you'll be happy with Peter Linz since you married him in July 2023 which was revealed in an episode of The Barretta Brothers podcast. Until then, great puppetry job Alice. You're a real female puppet star Dinnean!
