Shelley Kothe

Shelley Kothe is a puppeteer who is best known for founding Schiffelly Puppets, a company that does puppet shows for many venues across America. She hasn't done any projects featuring the Muppets or Sesame Street, but she has worked with Muppet performers on the show Once Upon a Tree. Shelley and her partner Jim Schiffman got to do several performance venues like live shows for libraries as well as community celebrations across Minnesota. Kothe also worked for local television stations including the Walt Disney Company, WCCO-TV, and Lakeville Government Television. But it's a shame though that despite performing with Muppet performers, she never did a Muppet production in her life. The people she worked with on Once Upon a Tree include Heather Asch, Eric Jacobson, Jim Martin, Tim Lagasse, and Jennifer Barnhart. Working with Schiffelly Puppets is what makes Shelly Kothe the star she is today for she's been there since co-founding it. I wonder if she still keeps in touch with the performers on that one TV show because she hasn't seen them in several years since it ended. People might not have heard of that series, but it they look it up online and read the credits, they'll see what she did. Shelley is still at Schiffelly Puppets today, and she even made a YouTube channel of the shows she performed for. Kothe should be considered a traveling puppeteer since she mostly traveled the world doing puppetry shows for many venues. Though the Schiffelly Puppets website should have a secure connection so people will not have to worry about anything. Besides that, she still does great with the company and puppeteered well on Once Upon a Tree, the latter didn't last long. Shelley Kothe, you are great when working within Schiffelly Puppets with your partner Jim Schiffman for years. Keep on working there and don't forget about the time you worked with Muppet performers for that one non-Henson series. If you remember them still, keep in touch. Until then, keep on entertaining people Shelley. You've got this Kothe!
