Robin Kingsland
Robin Kingsland is a British actor, writer, puppeteer, and director who served as an additional Muppet performer on Muppet Treasure Island. I don't know why he only assisted the Muppets in the one feature film, he could have done more projects like The Muppets Christmas Carol. Robin has also puppeteered on Spitting Image, Spacevets, and Fimbles, while most of his other credits were writing. Kingsland has written for Thomas & Friends, The Koala Brothers, Playdays, and many more. IMDb claimed that he wrote in projects featuring Mickey Mouse but there should be real proof of him writing for the famous mouse. Other puppeteers he worked with include Simon Buckley, Michael Bayliss, Iestyn Evans, and Neil Sterenberg, to name a few. On stage, Robin Kingsland has acted in many productions such as The Secret Garden, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Of Mice and Men, and more. If his website was accessible, then people would know what projects he directed. He must have been more popular on stage then he is under the frame, not that it matters. I wonder if Robin really did write for Mickey Mouse series, 'cause if he did, then he should say so himself when he gets interviewed for a puppet podcast or such. Let us hope Kingsland is still doing puppetry as well as writing today because he's been doing a lot of on-stage acting recently. As long as he's happy doing what he does best, that's all that matters. You never know when he'll be asked by the Muppets to help them with a future UK project. Robin Kingsland, despite only doing one Muppet film, it was worth it as you got to work with famous Muppet performers. Keep up the great work with whatever it is you're doing now and you'll be recognized by every person for the things you do. Until that day comes when you assist the Muppets again, get back in the swing of things with puppetry so you'll be prepared. It's just a suggestion Robin. I wish you good luck Kingsland!
