Ailsa Berk

Ailsa Berk is a British actress and choreographer who specializes in prosthetic and costumed roles. She did both the adolescent and adult versions of Grovelhog on an episode of The Storyteller. Alisa has also served as performance coordinator for the Yahoos in Gulliver's Travels. Berk got to work on a show that featured Brian Henson, but I personally think she should have done more Creature Shop shows besides The Storyteller and Gulliver's Travels. Outside, she did both a tiger and a panda in Fierce Creatures, a wheeler in Return to Oz, Ammanaman in Return of the Jedi, and many characters on Under the Same Sun. In addition to acting, she also served as a choreographer on Doctor Who, Da Vinci's Demons, and Carnival Row, where she guided monsters and actors. Ailsa Berk was shown to do prosthetic work on Little Shop of Horrors and The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe. This technically counts as operating a puppet since prosthetics in these cases were used to operate complicated puppets. It seems she has what it takes to be a Creature Shop puppeteer, she just has to do more projects by that company. Who knows, maybe she'll be asked to be choreographer for a dance show or something. I hope Ailsa will work with the Creature Shop on their next future project. You never know when Berk might do her choreography skills again for that company. Not to mention costumed and prosthetic roles she's done. Let's just keep watch on the Muppet Wiki for an update of her page. Ailsa Berk, you did well on The Storyteller and you're doing fantastic with all the choreography you've been doing. I hope you'll keep acting on screen and maybe work on something with Brian Henson again. Keep working Ailsa. You've got this Berk!
