Marc Weiner
Marc Weiner is a puppeteer, actor, voice actor, writer, and producer who has made a guest appearance on Sesame Street and a guest appearance on The Jim Henson Hour. He has made two unique puppetry techniques, one of them being his own head over a puppet body, the other involves him performing a puppet with his arm facing down so it's made up of the hand. Marc appeared as a phone installer in an episode of Sesame Street while The Jim Henson Hour had him appear as himself with his puppet named Rocko. Weiner got to appear with Fran Brill, Robert Mills, and Gordon Robertson for that appearance, even complimenting Henson himself. Outside he is best known for starring on Weinerville, appearing as himself and most of the puppet characters. For those wondering how he interacts with his characters on the show, I read about it myself. Marc Weiner pre-tapes the parts of him doing his puppets before acting as himself on-screen in post-production, giving the illusion that he's talking to his own characters. He is also best known for voicing Map, Swiper, and others on Dora the Explorer. From working with big kids to working with little kids, it must have been a huge transition for him. I wonder if Marc enjoyed doing Dora the Explorer more than Weinerville or vice versa. In addition, Weiner also paid visits as Rocko to Saturday Night Live, though I wish he would have guest starred with the Muppets again. He was last heard reprising the voice role of Map in the film Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Marc Weiner, you're a big star working with people of all ages. You've also done wonderful in your best known performances over the years. But I wish you'd visit the Muppets again someday and maybe show off your two unique puppet techniques you've done over your years of performances. Go explore Marc. Rock on Weiner!
