Craig Marin

Craig Marin is a puppeteer, puppet/marionette designer and builder, director, and the husband of Olga Felgemacher who is best known for creating Flexitoon. But why hasn't he performed on Sesame Street in the early days like his wife did? Craig probably wasn't interested because Sesame Street didn't have a lot of marionettes. After Felgemacher left Sesame Street, Marin probably met her and together formed Flexitoon to make both puppets and marionettes. The company has created and performed the Jukebox Band on Shining Time Station and the marionettes and moles for Pinwheel. He served as the puppeteer, puppet stager, builder, and director for the former while only performing and building in the latter. Just hope Craig Marin had experience with heights before. His additional Flexitoon projects include KIDS-TV and other forms of stage and screen shows, photos can be seen online. He and his wife performed alongside Jonathan Freeman, Alan Semok, Peter Baird, and Kenny Miele; all of which were regulars of Flexitoon. It's currently unknown on what Craig is doing right now because the last time he was heard was in a podcast called Under the Puppet. Marin should be proud of his position at Flexitoon since the Jukebox Band was his most famous set of puppets and marionettes. He should also be honored to have actual singers do the singing voices of the band (with the exception of Jonathan Freeman). Whatever the case, Pinwheel and Shining Time Station will always be known as the two well known productions featuring Flexitoon. Craig Marin, you've done a fantastic job co-founding and performing at Flexitoon for many decades (1981-today). I hope you and your wife are doing fine and will remember all the fun projects. Until death comes for both you and Felgemacher, no one will ever take the place of you two artists, even if someone did, it wouldn't be the same. Excellent work Craig. "Hang" ten Marin!
