Sayma Karim

Sayma Karim is a Bangladesh puppeteer whose only known work was performing and voicing Tuktuki on the Bangladeshi co-production of Sesame Street, Sisimpur. I don't know why there isn't a lot of info about her on the Wiki. Maybe Sayma didn't have a chance to work outside of the series since it ran for 4 years. It would appear that Karim needs to reveal to an interviewer on what other shows she performed in. At least she got to work alongside other puppeteers like Parvin Paru & Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, the former sometimes assists her in performing Tuktuki. Sayma Karim is not the only puppeteer to have not a lot of info about herself, others include Lynn Hippen, Aurorah Allain, and Charlotte Duberry, yet they are not from Bangladesh like her. The trouble with international puppeteers these days is that they don't give a lot of information about themselves. She shouldn't be one of those people, she should tell people what she does outside of Sisimpur so she can be more recognized for her talents. Sayma has technically become well known for performing Tuktuki, even though that's what she's only known for. Karim must be a well secretive puppeteer who doesn't share info about what other puppet shows she has done. I just hope that someday she will be interviewed and translated into a podcast. Sayma Karim, even though the Wiki doesn't have enough info about you, you're still considered well known for a character. I only wish that you will come out of secrecy and reveal to people what other shows you puppeteered in, or at least to your co-workers. There's always a chance for you to try. Nothing to it Sayma. Think about it Karim!
