Parvin Paru

Parvin Paru is a Bangladeshi puppeteer who performs additional characters (such as AMs, sheep and chickens) on the Bangladeshi co-production of Sesame Street, Sisimpur. I don't know why she hasn't done a main character while working on the series. Parvin probably didn't feel ready to be one of the main performers then. In 2014, Paru began performing Raya when she appeared in Bangladesh. Raya appears to have three different puppeteers for different regions. The other two being Jennifer Barnhart and Sangya Ojha. Parvin Paru was probably much more comfortable performing a character that was created by Sesame Workshop for health related things. Outside of Sisimpur, she acted on-screen in a Bangladeshi film called Made In Bangladesh. She was probably participating in a film that relates to problems in Bangladesh. Parvin got to perform alongside other Bangladeshi puppeteers such as Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, and others yet to be written about. If Paru is still working on Sisimpur, she should ask if she could get a character of her own. She deserves a bigger role in puppetry other than playing minor characters. Her time of puppetry is not over yet, she just has to keep up doing what she does the best. Parvin Paru, you're one of those international puppeteers that needs to do more main characters within a series by Sesame Workshop. Someday, you'll have your chance to become a core puppeteer on Sisimpur, if the show is still in production today. Never give up hope if you keep up puppeteering with your friends. You've got the talents so put yourself to it Parvin. Excellent puppetry job anyway Paru!
