Neusa de Souza

Neusa de Souza is a Brazilian puppeteer who performed Sivan (originally performed by Efrat Gonan) on the Brazilian co-production of Sesame Street, Vila Sesamo. From 2014-2016, she has done Sivan in the hosting segments of the series since it's mainly a programming block. Neusa appeared to be lucky to play an Muppet character originally from Israel. Souza got to work with two other Brazilian puppeteers while working on Vila Sesamo, Fernando Gomes and Magda Crudelli who must have been her closest friends. Outside of Vila Sesamo, she performed on Galinha ZAZA and Papagaio CACO, not to mention Cocorico with her puppeteer friends. I wonder how Neusa de Souza got selected to perform Sivan when the character moved to Brazil. The producers of Vila Sesamo must have seen her puppetry work on all of those shows. She probably wished she could have performed Sivan more when Vila Sesamo stopped production after 2016 and when the character got retired. Neusa is either puppeteering on other shows today or is retired from puppeteering completely. Souza should get in touch with her friends, just to see how they are doing since Villa Sesamo has ended in 2016. Cocorico was probably her best known show since it was popular. Neusa de Souza, you've done a great job taking over the Sivan character when she moved. I hope you keep on puppeteering on other Brazilian shows and meeting more people. Amanda Glass

Amanda Glass is a British puppeteer and costume maker who puppeteered on season 1 of Sooty (2011) as well as part of the third season. She also puppeteered on the Sooty video Sooty: The Big Day Out as well as making many of the puppets' costumes on the series. Besides doing Sooty, Amanda was also an additional puppeteer on Mongrels for three episodes. I personally think Glass should have puppeteered on a project by either the Muppets or the Henson Company (mostly in the Creature Shop). It's currently unknown what the performer looks like since the picture above either has her on camera or under one of the puppets. On both Sooty and Mongrels, other puppeteers she performed with include Iestyn Evans, Yvonne Stone, Simon Buckley, and Toby Olie, to name a few. Heather Quinn is a British puppeteer, cosplayer, singer, and gossiper who did many puppet characters for social media. She is also the only puppeteer who does cosplay, in other words, dresses and acts like their favorite character from a show. Heather also has a love for anything vintage, which I personally find to be unique for a person to like things from the past. Quinn hasn't done anything Muppet-related in her life, in fact she's probably never even heard of the Muppets or the Henson Company. However she has puppeteered many times for social media such as TikTok and Instagram. One of her puppets resembles an Ewok from the Star Wars franchise, which could give a clue that she's a Star Wars fan as well.
