Gregory Williams

Gregory Williams is a puppeteer, puppet designer, and writer who has done a few Muppet stuff. He was a background puppeteer on The Muppet Movie, although he was uncredited. Gregory has also written two books starring the Muppets called Kermit & Cleopigtra and The Case of the Missing Hat alongside two illustrators. Williams seems to be the only Muppet puppeteer to also write two storybooks featuring them. Other than the Muppets, he has mainly worked at The Puppet Studio, a company creating puppets for many TV shows. Gregory Williams' film and television credits included Men in Black, Beakman's World, and Pee-wee's Playhouse, to name a few. Perhaps his best known work was being the author of the famous book or autobiography entitled The Story of Hollywood. He also performed with Bob Baker Marionettes across Los Angeles and at the Theater when he was only 15. Gregory is not the only one to perform with Bob Baker, another one is Adrian Rose. I've read that Williams currently writes a column for a national periodical that focuses on puppetry called The Puppetry Journal. I hope he made friends while working at The Puppet Studio like Alison Mork, Wayne White, or Kevin Carlson. His current job better be inspired from working with the Muppets as a writer and puppeteer. Gregory Williams, you're an amazing author and puppeteer. I hope you keep on being an author for many books and working at The Puppet Studio. There is always another chance for you to work Gregory. Excellent job Williams!
