Michael Latini

Michael Latini is a puppeteer, designer, and builder who only performed with The Muppets troupe on the series finale of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. I've read that one of his earliest puppetry roles was operating Bear to a pre-recorded track by Noel MacNeal for Bear in the Big Blue House Live. Outside of the Muppets, Michael co-founded the company Monkey Boys Productions alongside Marc Petrosino, Scott Hits, and Russel Tucker. I also read Latini helped create a puppet version of Velvet for the Sesame Place show, Elmo the Musical which went on since 2014. Outside of that, he and Petrosino both made and performed puppets for various projects such as Saturday Night Live, Little Shop of Horrors, Planet Camp, and Helpsters, to name a few. His website states that he did puppeteer on Sesame Street as well as freelance projects like Avenue Q and Johnny and the Sprites. If Michael Latini performed on Sesame Street, then he was probably uncredited for doing so, like his friend Marc. Though he must have been pretty excited when he got to assist the legendary Muppet performers on that Jimmy Fallon appearance, it also featured the puppeteers of Sesame Street as well since it was taped in New York. Perhaps he got to talk to some of them after filming that final Jimmy Fallon episode. Michael has also been a producer for one of the projects he puppeteered on and that was Welcome to Anhedonia. I wish Latini would've been credited for doing Sesame Street since his bio on Monkey Boys Productions said he did. He's still working with Marc Petrosino and others at Monkey Boys Productions, in fact he gives them all credit for making him the successful man he is today. Let's hope he'll continue to design, build, and perform puppets with the company for the future. Michael Latini, you've done great with the Muppets, but what you're really great at, is running Monkey Boys Productions. Keep on working with your friends at the company and remember your past projects, most notably Helpsters. There's literally nothing you can't do when you've got great friends. Stupendous work Michael. You really became a star Latini!
