Brian Clark

Brian Clark | Henson Alternative Wiki | Fandom

Brian Clark is a puppeteer, writer, and performer who has been a member of the Puppet Up - Uncensored since joining them in 2007. His other Henson Alternative projects include Late Night Liars (as William A. Mummy), Neil's Puppet Dreams and No You Shut Up. I don't know why Clark hasn't performed in recent projects produced by Henson Alternative nor a project starring the Muppets. Perhaps he was interested in writing more than puppeteering for television. Brian has been a writer for numerous animated series such as Yokies, Baydogs, and The Children of Toromiro, not to mention many commercials. I've read that he's also created and written a pilot series called That Gay Ghost for Logo. It seems Brian Clark is completely more interested in writing than puppeteering or he just doesn't puppeteer as often as he writes. According to the Wiki, he is also a co-founder of a famed sketch comedy group known as The Deviants and he's also an alumni of the Groundlings Theater Sunday Company along with Ted Michaels. Clark should try and do some combining of the things he does. Meaning he should try to be both a puppeteer and a writer for a TV show. Brian holds a master's from NYU in television writing and gender studies which I am assuming was how he became a writer. But if that's where he became a writer, then how did he become a puppeteer so he could perform with the Puppet Up troupe? He must have been trained by one of the performers like Drew Massey, Victor Yerrid, or Julianne Buescher, so he could be a puppeteer. I hope that he decides to write on a show that involves puppetry so he could do both. Brian Clark, you're a talented writer and your puppetry is pleasant. I hope you keep on writing and/or puppeteering for theater and television so the people who've worked with you at Puppet Up can keep you as a member for years to come, until you quit. Not to mention you are amazing at founding The Deviants and making them famous. Keep working & you'll stand Clark!
