Alice Osborne

Alice Osborne is a puppeteer, suit performer, and director who has worked on the Henson Company shows Me & My Monsters and Five Minutes More. How come she didn't perform in any other shows produced in Australia? Osborne could have assisted in Bambaloo or Farscape but I guess it's what she chooses to perform in that pleases her. Alice could have also been a director for the series she worked on seeing on how other puppeteers sometimes directed the shows they worked on like Matt Vogel. It seems that there aren't enough shows by the Henson Company or the Muppets to be produced and/or filmed in Australia. Outside of those two shows, Osborne has also worked on Didi and B, The Upside Down Show, Raggs, and Humpty's Big Adventure. I've read that in 2007, she was in Paris where she joined Compagnie Philippe Genty to co-devise Boliloc which toured for 2 and a half years. Alice also worked extensively with My Darling Patricia in Australia. In 2012, she's worked for Sydney Theatre Company on The Splinter as the director of puppetry and movement. Alice Osborne has worked with several other companies/artists as well such as Erth, Urban Theatre Projects, PACT, and Shopfront, to name a few. This is why she needs to do work with the Muppets, she has worked with several theatre companies that involve puppetry, not to mention she's performed for the Henson Company. Osborne is currently resident puppetry and movement director with the Australian production of War Horse. I think that she's more of into theatre puppetry than puppeteering on TV. I think that the Muppets could do a live show in Australia someday so that she can be one of the assistant puppeteers. Whatever she is doing right now, I hope she decides to work with the Muppets on a project soon. Alice Osborne, it amazes me that you have puppeteered and directed several theatre shows for different companies. But I wish that the Muppets would do a project or live show in Australia so you can assist. Anybody who has performed with the Henson Company should do the Muppets too. I hope you keep performing for theatre and being a puppetry and movement director for shows. Whenever you have the time Alice, I want you to think about how much fun work with the Henson Company was. You're great Osborne!
