Misty Rosas

Misty Rosas is a stuntperson and suit performer who has mostly been associated with projects by the Henson Digital Performance Studio. She was the motion capture performer for various digital shows such as Sid on Sid the Science Kid, TJ in TJ Bearytales, and Lulu in Word Party. Misty also operated the body of Beary Barrington in The Country Bears with effects provided by the Creature Shop. Rosas has also worked on Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge where she was one of the performers for the first episode. I wonder if she ever considered doing regular puppetry in her life since it would make life easier for her not to wear a hot suit. Outside of the Henson, she has done many stunt works for many films such as Jingle All the Way, Van Helsing, Practical Magic, and the motion-capture feature Monster House, to name a few. Other roles Misty Rosas did included gorilla portrayals in Congo and Instinct, an alien in Altered, and various roles on The Mandalorian, her most recent project. In addition to motion capture and suit performance, she is also a singer, songwriter, and recording artist, which led to her own album entitled: Life, Lessons, Love. She's still being a dynamic and versatile artist to this very day with her vast area of performances such as songs and character roles. Though I still wish that Misty would give puppetry a try someday for the Creature Shop can give her some training maybe. Other performers Rosas worked with include Alice Dinnean, Tony Sabin Prince, Bruce Lanoil, and Terri Hardin, to name a few. She should have the title of being one of the busiest actresses across the United States. After all, she's got so much skills within herself and she's done acting, singing, and more. Misty Rosas, you're an incredibly dynamic and versatile artist with how much you've done. I hope you keep doing whatever it is you're best at like stunts, singing, or doing motion capture. I'm sure the Henson Digital Performance Studio has prepped you for the big world out there. Keep on working Misty. Feel the burn Rosas!
