Judy Preece

Judy Preece is a British puppeteer who has worked on a number of British-filmed Muppet & Henson projects. Judy mostly worked in the Muppet and Henson films and one TV special. She puppeteered in The Tale of the Bunny Picnic, Labyrinth (as Goblins), and The Muppets Christmas Carol. But how come she never assisted the Muppets on Muppet Treasure Island or any other Muppet/Henson project filmed in the UK? Preece probably feels like she's not good enough to work on several projects that include either Henson or the Muppets. Outside of the Muppets and Henson, Judy Preece did lots of shows featuring puppetry. She puppeteered on Fun Factory, Spitting Image, Terrahawks, and The Pig Attraction, and that's only a few. As for her film work, Judy only assisted in the Frank Oz film, Little Shop of Horrors. It must have been pretty complicated to operate Audrey II for that movie. I feel like she's another one of those puppeteers who hasn't done enough in their life. Preece looks like a great puppeteer and she could do more with the Muppets. When the Muppets are in the United Kingdom again, I want her to ask if she can assist them on a project. Because, Judy Preece deserves to do more work with Henson and the Muppets and it's not too late in her life to restart work with either Henson or the Muppets. She also has the qualities of a Muppet performer, she performs for people of all ages, she has worked with other puppeteers, and has even been doing projects outside. Those are all of the requirements a Muppet performer must have. Three projects with Henson/Muppets are not enough for one person to work on. Judy needs to do more Muppet work whenever she gets the chance. Judy Preece, I think you're still in perfect condition to puppeteer. Work on a project with the Muppets and maybe you'll receive the credit of a Muppet performer. Anything can be possible when you try Judy!
