Wende Welch

Wende Welch is a Canadian puppeteer who has been a guest puppeteer on Sesame Park. But that was the only show involving Sesame Street in which she performed on. She should have also worked with Henson and/or the Muppets whenever they were in Canada. Wende could have done The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years, Fraggle Rock, or Sesame Street's Follow That Bird. Welch should have met up with the main performers when she had the chance, but she was probably happier outside. I'd say that anyone who works on a Canadian co-production of Sesame Street, deserves an opportunity to do more with Henson and the Muppets. She's more familiar with doing puppetry outside of Sesame Park (and its Snippets). Wende Welch has puppeteered on numerous shows like Groundling Marsh (replacing Jani Lauzon), The Mighty Jungle, St. Bears Doll Hospital, and more. She seems to have had a mixture of years in which she has been a puppeteer. It would appear that she has had more puppetry experience outside of Sesame Park. But I still believe that Wende has what it takes to become a Muppet performer, if she's still puppeteering that is. Other puppeteers Welch worked with include Mike Petersen, Gordon Robertson, James Rankin, and Frank Meschkuleit. Wherever she is now, I hope she remembers how much fun she had puppeteering on all of those productions. Still, I want her to work on one project with the Muppets when they're in Canada. Wende Welch, you're very good at puppeteering, so you deserve to be a Muppet performer. Other than that, you've done wonderful on all of those other shows other than Sesame Park. I hope you're still puppeteering today, because if you are, then it would impact your page on the Muppet Wiki, when you get one. Excellent puppetry work Wende. You're all sewn up Welch!
