Jeff Conover
Jeff Conover is a puppeteer, suit performer and puppet designer who is known for being the master puppeteer for Disney Entertainment at the Disney theme parks. He puppeteered for Henson/Sesame Workshop's Big Bag, mostly right-handing Chelli and in the second season, he took over the role of Lyle from Joey Mazzarino. Jeff was also one of the four puppeteers to do a Muppet named Bad Andy for Domino's Pizza commercials. Despite The Jim Henson Company designing the puppet, he was actually built by the company Conover worked at, Animax Designs. He also puppeteered on projects like Sing Me a Story With Belle, Trollies, and Super Duper Supermarket Day, to name a few. I wish that he would perform with the Muppets though. Jeff Conover could have been an assistant for The Muppets at Walt Disney World, Animal Jam, and Kermit's Swamp Years as all of those projects were filmed in Florida. It states that he was in charge of casting and coordinating the puppetry for many live stage shows at the Disney theme parks. One of the shows in which he was coordinator for was Playhouse Disney: Live on Stage which features Bear in the Big Blue House. I've read that Jeff's current title is Designer, Articulated Heads and Puppetry for the Walt Disney Company. I think that means Conover is in charge of almost all puppets in Disney. It's amazing how one puppeteer can become in charge of all stage show puppets. He should work with the Muppets again and show the others what a big success he became. Jeff Conover, you're an incredible puppeteer and you really know how to lead. Work with the Muppets on another project and impress them. And if you're still doing Disney theme parks, keep on working at your position. Until then, keep on performing Jeff. You totally got this Conover!
