Frank Meschkuleit
Frank Meschkuleit is a Canadian puppeteer, suit performer, and voice actor who worked on Fraggle Rock in its 5th Season. He operated some background Fraggles and later replaced Robert Mills as the suit performer for Junior Gorg. Frank has also puppeteered in the Canadian video Basil Hears a Noise and in the Sesame Street film, Follow That Bird. I've read that Meschkuleit started his Muppet career when he was a bike mechanic and was encouraged by his teacher to audition for the Muppets. Outside of Fraggle Rock, he puppeteered on several series like Iris the Happy Professor, The Noddy Shop, and The Mighty Jungle, to name a few. His film work includes many horror movies like Bride of Chucky, Kumar Go to White Castle, and Scary Movie 3. Frank Meschkuleit is perhaps best known for being the voice of Toopy, the only speaking character on Toopy and Binoo. He has even performed his very own one-man show called Left Hand Frank. as a variety of characters objects like Pinky (his pinky finger) and Tampy (a tampon made mouse on a stick). He has done it all, from a little finger, to a big character costume, to an animated character. Frank recently returned to the Fraggles to do Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, puppeteering 3 characters to the voice of Dave Goelz and played Pa Gorg (face and voice), Large Marvin Fraggle, and other characters. Meschkuleit worked with other puppeteers over the years such as Mike Petersen, Wende Welch, Cheryl Wagner, Tim Gosley, and more. He is certainly one of the best Canadian puppeteers to ever be in the Muppet performer world. There just isn't anything he can't do to make people laugh. Frank Meschkuleit you are one great puppeteer and an excellent voice actor in my opinion. Keep on doing those two things and you'll be a legend. Fraggle Rock has really made you the man we all know and love today. Well done Frank. Don't be a stranger Meschkuleit!
