Terry Angus

Terry Angus is a Canadian puppeteer, writer, and puppet builder who has performed various characters on Fraggle Rock, most notably Storyteller Fraggle. He also performed background Muppets on various other productions such as The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years, The Christmas Toy, and A Muppet Family Christmas. Terry also performed on two Sesame Street productions filmed in Toronto, mainly Follow That Bird, and Basil Hears a Noise. Angus even made an appearance with Jim Henson on a TV special in which he built and performed "Kerm-2", like a replica of Kermit. Outside of Fraggle Rock and the Muppets, he has designed, built, and performed puppets for various shows. His most notable show was Blizzard Island as a performer, puppet maker, and writer. Other puppeteers Terry Angus has worked with include Tim Gosley, Stoney Ripley, and Jamie Bradley, just to name a few. I've read that he also has website hosted by his own puppet creation, Butch G. Cat as well as selling original hand-made puppets on eBay. In addition to performing with the Muppets, he has also worked on several of the Master Replicas Muppet photo puppets from 2006-2008. Terry is still working with puppets today as well as getting interviewed on various podcasts. I certainly hope that Angus is still keeping in touch with fellow Fraggle Rock performers as well as the performers from Blizzard Island. He really knows how to put an original show together since he made Blizzard Island. No wonder he was one of the many performers selected to do Fraggle Rock and other projects. Terry Angus, you're an magnificent puppet builder and performer since you've done both for many years on many different productions. You must have felt excited to create your own Kermit replica and perform him with the real one. Blizzard Island is definitely your best known project. Keep up the great work Terry. You're so cool Angus!
