Helena Smee

Helena Smee is a puppeteer, puppet builder, and writer who is best known for working at Hands Up Puppets with her husband, fellow puppeteer Marcus Clarke. She didn't perform in a lot of projects involving the Muppets, but she did perform Chelli in the UK version of Big Bag (which the Muppet Workshop built the puppets). Helena has also performed background characters in Muppet Treasure Island and Muppets Most Wanted, as both movies were filmed in the UK. Her latest puppetry work was one of the principal puppeteers in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, puppeteering various characters. Outside of Muppets and Creature Shop, she mostly worked at Hands Up Puppets. With her husband, they both have designed and built over seventy puppet characters for TV, and they also puppeteered on over seventy different children shows. Children shows like Playbox, Milkshake, and Dappledown Farm (to name a few). Throughout the years, Helena has done many different types of puppetry, from simple glove puppets to complicated animatronic puppets. I wonder if Smee ever feels impressed with all the puppeteering she has done. Helena Smee must be one of the luckiest people to have her own company like Henson. Helena Smee, keep making children happy, and show the world that Hands Up Puppets is another terrific puppet studio. Puppeteer on, you great performing lady.

Gavin Sainsbury is an Australian puppeteer, prop master, and mechanist who puppeteered on a couple of Henson Company projects such as Bambaloo, Farscape, and the stage show Pan. He got to work with several performers on the former two such as Fiona Gentle, Mat McCoy, Roslyn Oades, Sean Masterson and more. Brock Winkless

Brock Winkless was a puppeteer and visual effects technician, best known for being the puppeteer of Chucky in the Child's Play franchise and the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt. A magazine stated that he understood lip-syncing of a puppet's mouth movements which gave him the skill to puppeteer his characters to vocal tracks. Brock frequently worked with director and make-up artist Kevin Yagher on many projects, such as the Child's Play series, the Crypt Keeper, and the film Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. Winkless also collaborated with other studios for make-up and visual effects throughout his career, including Animated FX Inc., owned by Norman Tempia. Other films he puppeteered in over the years have included Death Becomes Her, Man's Best Friend, Congo, The X-Files, and Dr. Dolittle 2. Robert Smigel

Robert Smigel is an actor, puppeteer, comedian, and filmmaker who is perhaps known for his Saturday Night Live "TV Funhouse" shorts and as the performer of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. He's also well known for writing feature films starring Adam Sandler like Leo, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, & the first two Hotel Transylvania films. Robert created Triumph as a foul-mouthed dog puppet who mocked celebrities and others since his debut appearance in 1997. Smigel performed the dog in a cameo role on It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, in which he conversed with Kermit the Frog on the phone for one scene. As a writer, he wrote for Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Conan O'Brien, even serving as a producer for both talk shows.
