Lee Armstrong

Lee Armstrong is a Canadian puppeteer and producer who worked on Fraggle Rock for three years as a featured perform of some characters. She also worked on the 1st Sesame Street film Follow That Bird as one of the Board of Birds. I've read that after Fraggle Rock, Lee moved to San Francisco where she worked as a public access coordinator for Viacom. Armstrong soon became the founder and co-owner of Images In Motion, Inc., a company specialized in television and film puppetry. Her puppetry can be seen on Being John Malkovich, The Charlie Horse Music Pizza (with Shari Lewis), Mustard Pancakes, and Jack Houston's Imagine Land (Season 2), just to name a few. Her company has been making and performing puppets for numerous videos, TV/stage shows, and commercials. Lee Armstrong must be full of pride because her company won herself 3 regional Emmys as both producer and puppeteer. She has also been teaching numerous courses in puppetry, even "Jim Henson and the Art of the Muppets" which shows she's never forgotten them. From Fraggle Rock to all of those other projects, she worked with many performers like Steve Axtell, John Hardman, Mike Petersen, and Trish Leeper, just to name a few. Lee also has a performing partner at her company known as Kamela Portuges and together they have been running Images In Motion, Inc. since they founded it. I even read that Armstrong is also a TV Consultant for the Puppeteers of America. It appears that Fraggle Rock really made her the woman she is today since she has so many achievements and is still running her puppet company. Let's hope she'll reunite with some Muppet performers someday. Lee Armstrong, moving to the US from Canada really made changes to your life. If it wasn't for Fraggle Rock, you wouldn't have done all of those shows and work at Images In Motion, Inc. Keep up the great work there because the puppets made have brought happiness in everyone's hearts around the world. Excellent job Lee. You're a natural Armstrong!
