David Rudman
David Rudman is a puppeteer, puppet designer, and filmmaker who is best known for performing many characters for the Muppets and Sesame Street. For Sesame Street, his most notable characters are Baby Bear and Cookie Monster, taking over the latter role from Frank Oz since 2001. As for the Muppets, David currently performs Scooter, Janice, and Beaker, the former two since 2008 and latter one since 2017. Rudman started out as a builder in the Muppet Workshop and was trained by Richard Hunt. Some of his first projects with the Muppets include The Muppets Take Manhattan and Little Muppet Monsters (as Boo Monster). He worked on Sesame Street since season 17 and took over some of Hunt's roles when he died, such as Two-Headed Monster (right half).
