Josh Martin

Josh Martin is a voice actor and suit performer who is best known for working at FUNimation, dubbing various anime in English, most notably the Dragon Ball franchise. He is also known for performing the body of Barney for the Barney & Friends franchise, filling in for David Joyner for half the 4th season, a home video, and a live show. Josh also puppeteered a blue jay in another Barney home video and was in suit for two animals. Martin never worked with any actual puppeteers during his tenure with Barney as Brice Armstrong, Todd Duffey, and Earl Fisher were trained to do so. He also was a character wrangler for the franchise from 2008-2014, whenever he could. Besides Barney, FUNimation chose him to voice several characters in the English dubs of the Dragon Ball franchise, Majin Buu, Commander Red, and a bunch of others. Other anime Josh Martin dubbed have included Fairy Tail, Gonna Be the Twin Tail!!, Sengoku Basara, Fullmetal Alchemist, and more. He isn't really a puppeteer, but he gave it a shot when doing Barney & Friends, and I'm sure he did a fine job at it. He still dubs anime for FUNimation today, mostly on projects in the Dragon Ball franchise doing Majin Buu and others. I wonder if Josh ever met James Kroupa during his time on Barney for Kroupa designed and built the three puppet characters seen from 1997-2000, and maybe even trained the actors to puppeteer. I personally don't think Martin did but you never know if/when Kroupa will confirm. But no matter what job this man does, FUNimation really made him the star he is today, while Barney & Friends lit the fire into his stardom career. And I hope he still remembers performing with kids before lending his voice into the world of anime. Josh Martin, you have understudied the purple dinosaur and dubbed several anime characters, that's very impressive. But if only you had more experience doing puppetry, I mean someone must've trained you to do it. But other than that, you're a fabulous voice actor for English dubs of anime. Lots of love Josh. Claire Roi Harvey

Claire Roi Harvey is a puppeteer and performer whose only Henson Company show she ever worked on was The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. I don't know why she hasn't performed in other Henson projects or even assisted the Muppets for Muppets Most Wanted. Clare has been a puppeteer for film, TV, theatre, and commercials. Outside of The Dark Crystal, she has worked on various other projects such as Feeling Better, three Star Wars films, and Doctor Who, to name a couple. She must have been pretty lucky to work with many creature/puppeteer teams bringing incredible characters to life. Harvey at least had a chance to perform with many Muppet puppeteers such as Damian Farrell, Brian Herring, Dave Chapman and many more. Ted Michaels

Ted Michaels is a puppeteer and improv actor who has been a puppeteer for the Henson Company since 2006. His Henson Alternative projects include Puppet Up, The Simian Undercover Detective Squad (as Yeager), and No You Shut Up! Ted's only Muppet work was on The Muppets (2015) uncredited. Other than puppetry, Michaels is also an alum of the Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles. Some of his stage credits include One Word Improv, Boy From Mars, MADtv, According to Jim, and more, plus a lot of commercial appearances. His latest work with Henson Alternative was performing Ezra and a Sexist Thug and being core puppeteer in the film The Happytime Murders.
