Alfonso Soto

Alfonso Soto is a Mexican puppeteer, actor, singer, and voice actor who is best known for performing Pancho on Plaza Sesamo since 2010, taking over from Odin Dupeyron. He also dubbed Elmo when his appearance on The Kitchen premiered in Mexico. On Plaza Sesamo, Alfonso performed with numerous other performers like Maripaz Garcia (who assists him with Pancho), Verenice Callejo, Rocio Lara, Igor Cruz, and many more. I wonder how close Soto was with Dupeyron prior to the inheritance. According to Backstage, he also worked within the theater at Adriana Barraza Black Box, doing shows like Drops, Broken English musical, and Esperando el amanecer. A lot of those shows took place in Florida, which makes me wonder if he ever learned to speak English whenever he was in America. Alfonso Soto also puppeteered on Como dice el dicho and piiiQBO, the former being a series and the latter being a promo for television. But no matter what project or career he does, he will always be known by fans for doing Pancho on Plaza Sesamo. He not only can sing but he's also a talented dancer at ABBB which makes a wonderful gig for a guy like him to display his talents to everyone. Hopefully, Alfonso will see more of the world in the future and show off Pancho as well as his other performance skills. You can never tell when Soto influences other Hispanic performers visiting different parts of the world, like America. But until that happens, he still works on Plaza Sesamo as Pancho for the near future. Other puppeteers who are Mexican American might even admire him. Alfonso Soto, you are doing such a wonderful job as the current performer of Pancho on Plaza Sesamo since 2010. You were also terrific at the Adiana Barraza Black Box doing all of those shows as an actor, dancer, and singer. Keep on performing so that Hispanic people will admire you for your talents. Claire Roi Harvey

Claire Roi Harvey is a puppeteer and performer whose only Henson Company show she ever worked on was The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. I don't know why she hasn't performed in other Henson projects or even assisted the Muppets for Muppets Most Wanted. Clare has been a puppeteer for film, TV, theatre, and commercials. Outside of The Dark Crystal, she has worked on various other projects such as Feeling Better, three Star Wars films, and Doctor Who, to name a couple. She must have been pretty lucky to work with many creature/puppeteer teams bringing incredible characters to life. Harvey at least had a chance to perform with many Muppet puppeteers such as Damian Farrell, Brian Herring, Dave Chapman and many more. Ted Michaels

Ted Michaels is a puppeteer and improv actor who has been a puppeteer for the Henson Company since 2006. His Henson Alternative projects include Puppet Up, The Simian Undercover Detective Squad (as Yeager), and No You Shut Up! Ted's only Muppet work was on The Muppets (2015) uncredited. Other than puppetry, Michaels is also an alum of the Groundlings Theater in Los Angeles. Some of his stage credits include One Word Improv, Boy From Mars, MADtv, According to Jim, and more, plus a lot of commercial appearances. His latest work with Henson Alternative was performing Ezra and a Sexist Thug and being core puppeteer in the film The Happytime Murders.
